Devotees from all over the country will now be able to visit Chardham in Uttarakhand. The state government has opened the doors of Chardham Yatra to all states with some conditions. The points of e-pass and guidelines are available on the Chardham Devasthanam Board website. On Friday, Ravinath Raman, Chief Executive Officer of Uttarakhand Chardham Devasthanam Board gave this information after a press conference. He informed us that the board has issued a new SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) regarding Chardham Yatra.
Under the state government guidelines, e-passes will be issued to devotees after application on the Chardham Devasthanam Board website. The pilgrims coming to the Chardham Darshan will be allowed to enter the state only after submitting a negative report of the corona inquiry conducted within 72 hours. Ravinath Raman said that the corona investigation report should be from the lab authorized by the ICMR. The report will have to be uploaded during the e-pass application only. Only then will the travel pass be issued.
Passengers who have not undergone a corona examination within 72 hours will have to quarantine as per the guidelines. After entering Uttarakhand, he will remain quarantined in institutional, home, paid hotel-guest house here for a fixed period. They will be allowed to visit Chardham in the state only after presenting a certificate to complete the quarantine period. During the journey, the actual identity proof certificate should also be kept with the passenger. All these conditions are in addition to the guidelines issued by the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority, which will remain in force until further orders.
Till now only the people of the state were allowed
After getting permission to open religious places, the state government had entrusted the decision of Uttarakhand Chardham Devasthanam Board to take decision regarding Chardham Yatra. In the first phase, the board allowed residents of Chamoli, Rudraprayag and Uttarkashi districts to visit their respective dams. From July 1, the residents were allowed to visit Chardham Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri through registration. In this, compliance with physical distance, masks, etc. is necessary for the view of avoidance of Kovid-19. Which will still continue.
Apply for e-pass on Devasthanam Board website
The application for e-pass can be made by visiting the Chardham Devasthanam Board website https://badrinath-kedarnath.gov.in/. Here, along with giving your complete information, you will have to upload the report of the corona investigation conducted within 72 hours. Apart from this, identity cards will also have to be provided. The e-pass can be downloaded from the website only on getting permission.
How Can Kedarnath Prasad be brought online?
The devotees of Baba Kedar who are living in the country and abroad will be able to get the offerings of Kedarnath Dham online even during the Corona period. On Monday, Rudraprayag MLA Bharat Singh Chaudhary launched the online sale of this Prasad. This Prasad Unnati is being prepared by Self Help Group under the name ‘Hilans Sri Kedarnath Prasad’. The first booking for Prasad was made by District Magistrate Vandana Singh.
Launching the marketing program of Kedarnath Prasad in the Vikas Bhawan auditorium, MLA Chaudhary said that this is an innovative endeavor of women associated with district administration, development department, and self-help groups. The self-help group economy has been adversely affected due to travel affected due to corona infection. But, now the online sale of Kedarnath Prasad will not only enable the devotees to get Prasad sitting at home, but will also strengthen the economy of women associated with self-help groups.
District Magistrate Vandana Singh said that this effort is being prepared by the Advance Self Help Group by Rudraprayag, District Mission Management Unit of Deendayal Antyodaya National Rural Livelihood Mission. To get the prasad, devotees have to make online bookings on the e-commerce site onlineprasad.com. While payment can be made through internet banking and master card. Chief Development Officer Manvinder Kaur said that Prasad’s box will contain eight laddoos, bell letters, incense paraphernalia, Rudraksha, Bhasma, and Badri-Kedar card. It has been priced at Rs 451.
Devotees will get prasad at home
Online bookings for the pujas have been taking place at Badrinath Dham for a long time, but Prasad was being sent to the devotees.
